Bangkok Lane is one of Penang’s most magnificent streets and this is the lane where most people will drop by for a serving of the ever popular "Bangkok Lane's Mee Goreng". Tucked in this lane are two rows of houses that were rented out to domestic tenants in the earlier years. Due to the increase in rental lately, most of them have since vacated the houses.
These vacant houses are now taken over by new tenants who are renting it as a shop to run their business. This lane has a mixed variety of shops, being mostly boutiques, saloon, spa center and interior design. Such units are Richard Rivalee Couture House & Cafe, Vil'lointerior and Justventi.
Do take a stroll down Bangkok Lane to see how it has evolve through the times.
