Wat Chayamangkalaram located at Lorong Burma, Pulau Tikus is one beautiful temple visited by most tourist in Penang. Inside the temple lies a 33 meter long reclining Buddha. Till date, it is the largest Buddha in Malaysia and third largest in the world.
Magnificent statue warriors guarding the grounds leading into the temple. This place of worship is open from early morning 6.00am till evening around 5pm and entrance is free.
This temple is a wonderful place for a visit while holidaying in Penang. It is just walking distance to Pulau Tikus which is surrounded with shops and hawkers stalls.
