Usually we view the clan jetties from the within the jetties itself. Seldom we can view the surrounding from the the channel inwards. A free boat ride was open to the public by the Lim Jetty committee at Weld Quay on the closing of the month long celebration of first anniversary of George Town award of UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hi CK...love the pics. love to see the other side of Penang. the kampung is just like kampung air in Sabah. I like no. 3 & 11. No. 3 shows two different world - old (represent by the house) and modern (represent by the Komtar).
